“Reading is Always a Treat” Winner

Senior Taylor Brown has won the drawing in the PHS Library’s “Reading is Always a Treat” challenge.

For the challenge students checked out and read books from the library during October. To enter, students wrote a brief summary of each book read and submitted it to Mrs. Davis, PHS Librarian. For each summary submitted, the student received a “treat” and was entered into a drawing for $50.00. Taylor submitted seven summaries.

Mrs. Davis said there was not as much participation as she would have liked, but hopes that this challenge will spur more interest for another semester.
