Fish Fighters in Seattle

The Fish Fighters arrived in Seattle Wednesday night for the NOSB, National Ocean  Sciences Bowl, national competition. Twelve hours of travel, 6 hours in the air from the east coast to the west coast, but the team is excited. Immediately upon arrival, the team contacted a former member, Kaelyn Trapp, who was on last year’s team and traveled to Milwaukee for nationals. Kaelyn took the team on a midnight tour or her university, The University of Washington. The photo shows Kaelyn along with current members Ben Jones, Kaitlyn Barber, Rob Merrell, Stephen Mitchell and Austin Stampley. Captain of the team Stephen Mitchell is riding UW’s mascot, the Huskie.
