PHS Beta Officers Attend Summit

The officers of the Beta Club of Poplarville High School joined 200 other Beta officers and members  from across the state of Mississippi at the First Annual Mississippi Leadership Summit sponsored by the National Headquarters of the Beta Club.  The Summit took place in Biloxi, Mississippi from October 20 through October 21, 2014.  Participants had the opportunity to collaborate with other students from Mississippi in a number of activities designed to strengthen leadership, character, communication, and motivational skills to better serve our schools and communities. Representing PHS at this event were:  Emily Mitchell, Drew Smith, Dalton Spiers, Madison Nodurft, Carlie Lambert, and Victoria McMurray.  The students were accompanied by Dr. Miguel Ramirez, Mrs. Kerri Smith, and Coach Jonathan Ray.
