PLE Book Fair Family Night

On March 10, 2015, Poplarville Lower Elementary Library hosted its spring Scholastic Book Fair Family Night.  Students were encouraged to bring a family member to browse the Book Fair while enjoying refreshments and shopping for reading materials to be used at home.  Those who attended were entered into a drawing for a basket full of books, pencils, and other items from the Book Fair.  The winner of the basket was Elizabeth B. from Mrs. Jennifer Theriot’s class.  Classes also competed to see which one would have the highest number of students attend our Family Night.  Mrs. Lynn Anderson’s class won that honor and received a treat for their high attendance.  The PLE spring Book Fair Family Night was a huge success earning over $1,200!  The school overall total for the Book Fair was $6,700!  Congratulations, boys and girls, for doing such a great job promoting the Book Fair!
