MSP Earthpalooza

On April 22nd, the 6th grade students at the Middle School of Poplarville participated in Earthpalooza. This special event was planned to celebrate Earth Day.

Bringing Earth Day into the classroom allowed  students to explore the purpose and significance of the holiday and raises their awareness of environmental issues. The students incorporated skills they had learned into games and provided an afternoon of educational fun learning experiences for other student to enjoy. This opportunity provided the students with learning experiences that encompassed a wide variety of environmental activities andissues, from recycling to pollution to energy conservation.
