AEST Learns About Mushroom Cultivation, Tree and Wildflower Identification, and Bee Keeping

The Poplarville Agricultural Concepts Class visited Shroomdom, Inc.  Thrusday, October 15, 2015.  Dr.Eddie Smith, MS State Extension Service Agent, spoke to the students about tree and wildflower identification .  Dr. Ales Gregorc, MS State University Coastal Research MS Extension Center Poplarville, spoke to the students about bee keeping.  Tony and Leilani Rosenbaum, owners of Shroomdom, Inc.,  explained sustainable gardening/perma culture, vermicompost and mushroom cultivation to the students.  The students of Agricultural Concepts Class would like to thank the Pearl River County Natural Resources Conservation Service for paying the entry fee for the students.  They would also like to thank Mrs. Beverly Hughes for making their lunches and arranging for their visit.
