Mississippi Tobacco Free

Mrs. Kim Hart, a program director from "Mississippi Tobacco Free" spoke to the health classes at MSP about tobacco prevention.  The students learned important facts as to why smoking and smokeless tobacco is bad for their health.

Students enjoyed asking questions and listening to the information that Mrs. Hart shared.  The students learned about all of the toxins that are placed in a single cigarette, what tar on the lungs looks like, how our oral cavity is damaged from tobacco, and how dangerous second hand smoke can be.

Thanks Mrs. Hart for partnering with the Middle School of Poplarville!
